Beginners Sewing Workshop

Join us for our Beginners Class, tailored for those who have never touched a sewing machine before or would like a refresher to pick up sewing again.

Worried about Machines and supplies? Don't be! We've got you covered with the use of our Bernina sewing machines, all requirements will be supplied in this workshop including fabrics and threads.

At our workshop, you'll dive into the fundamentals of sewing machine operation and overlockers. We'll cover Sewing 101, ensuring you feel confident with every stitch, we'll guide you through the ins and outs of machine operation and help you unlock its full potential.

Throughout the session, you'll learn:

  • How to use and optimise a sewing machine

  • Essential tips for achieving the best results

  • Understanding threads and fabrics, including different thicknesses and tension dynamics

  • We will cover essential tools like scissors, pins, quick unpicks, tape measures

A three hour session, with a maximum of six participants per workshop. And to keep your creativity fuelled, tea, coffee and a few treats will be on hand.
